A Garden Within the Forest
SPACE
A forest that kept its original form
A space woven into the landscape
When we first found it, Boreumsup was already a clearing ringed by tall trees. Nothing here but trees, grass, and stone — yet it felt strangely intimate, with a sky that opened up wide overhead. When we designed the space, we wanted every guest to feel exactly what we felt that day.
A round-open sky and a wide garden
So we kept the building low, single-story, and modest in footprint, so it would never block the forest or the sky. A gabled roof echoes the trees rising around it. Beyond it, the round-open sky and the wide garden are all yours to take in.
Woven into the view Beauty left as it was
Round tables and lights shaped like the full moon, placed sparingly, give the space its identity. Boreumsup blends into the landscape rather than standing apart from it — the forest and the garden, left beautiful as they already were.
